Codan's 3520 transceiver supply is a rugged, lightweight and compact unit, specifically designed to power sensitive radio equipment.

The 3520 provides extremely low conducted and radiated emissions, eliminating interference with communications. It provides stable DC power from AC mains for the 2110 series transceivers in standard 25 watt and 125 watt, with 3160 Power Amplifier configurations.

The universal AC mains input is protected against over-voltage, excessive inrush currents, and voltage transients. The DC output is protected against short-circuit, under-voltage and over-voltage in the case of fault conditions, and features fold-back current limiting. The supply will shut down if it is exposed to excessive temperatures. Fault conditions are indicated by a status LED.

The 3520 supports parallel connection of a standby battery to provide power in the event of mains interruption. When a flat battery occurs the 3520 limits charge current and precisely regulates the float voltage.
